This website has been developed to ensure content is available to the widest possible audience, including users using assistive technology or accessibility features. By adhering to guidelines for accessible web design, we acknowledge the diversity of communication methods, available technologies and abilities of web users in the community.


Changing your font size

To change the font size click on the button (AA) at the top left hand side of the screen. Should you want to increase the font size further change the font size in the browser settings, use the ‘Ctrl +’ keys, or the font size tool located at the top right hand corner of each page.



The most common formats for documents published on this website are Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF. Information about the PDF documents published on our site is below.


PDF documents

We follow the Australian Government guidelines on PDF accessibility when creating PDF documents. We are currently reviewing how our Auditor-General’s Reports to Parliament are published on our website, which includes the accessibility of these publications.

Download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from the Adobe website to read our PDF documents. Learn how to configure Adobe Reader to work with your assistive technology.

The Adobe website provides a number of tools and resources to help people use speech readers to read the content of PDF documents. The documents are created as accessible PDFs, and currently open within the current browser window. The PDF documents can be downloaded by right clicking on the link and then clicking ‘Save As’.

The Audit Office is committed to making PDF documents published after 1 January 2015 accessible, and developing a strategy for documents published prior to this point. The final approach will be published once approved.


Requesting accessible content

Please contact us if you find content on the website inaccessible. The Audit Office will then provide an accessible version of the content within two working days.
